Worth Seeing
I really liked both shows, although I came to the show primarily to hear Terri Nunn. Both Terri and Patty still have it and did a great job. Because Terri Nunn was the opener, the set was pretty short. But she sounded and looked good, so I was pleased.
I had never been a fan of Patty Smyth, and never cared for the rock sound. But I never realized what a good singer and performer Kendall Street Company is until I saw the show Sunday. They were incredible! Their voice, body, and movements could easily have belonged to a thirty year old. I was really floored. I came away from that concert not so much a fan of the musical style Patty Smyth has, but a fan of the performer.
Both performers did a great job and I hope they enjoyed the show as much as the audience did.
